Grief.

If you have a crush on someone, but they despise you. thats not grief you feel, its mostly dissapointment, or hurt. Grief is a pain that is so deep that it hurts physically and lasts for a long time, sometimes you forget it is there, but it always comes back.
Like losing someone forever, or even missing someone badly. I live with grief every day, as do most of us to some degree, and most of the time I can deal with it. But sometimes it is too much. When that happens I find myself running, I retreat from the world into myself, or go into a mindless state of nothingness. (not a good idea, remember the old cat lady in the last entry?)

Grief is one of the most difficult emotions to deal with, Most emotions have their limits. Grief can be so painful that you think it could never get any worse, like you could just die, then more grief will be layered on top spiraling you into a whole new level of pain.

People deal with pain in many various ways. They either run from it, try to forget it, Cover it up, talk about it, get angry, Cry about it, and other things. All of which work to a certain extent, but only for a limited time. Grief cannot be withheld indefinitely, it will have blood. The pain will always be there. The only thing you can do is accept it. There is no one best way to that, it takes multiple strategies. Crying helps alot, but you cant cry forever, it will destroy you. Having fun, laughing with your friends, just doing something to try and forget the pain, feels good sometimes, but you have to come home to the pain eventually. An even balance of the two will really help alot, without damaging yourself further. There is still something missing. what everyone needs now is a best friend, a vent. Someone to share the pain with, its alot easier that way.
